Red Fort: A historical fortification in the old Delhi constructed by Shah Jahan in the year 1639. The Red Fort complex is assumed as a finniest architectural creativity and brilliance of Mughal architecture with so much history and heritage. Red Fort attracts thousands of archeological lovers every year. Purana Qila: One of the most captivating and oldest forts of Delhi. Purana Qila is said to be inhabited for the past 2,500 years, and excavations at the site show evidence for materials belonging from the 3rd century BC, pre-Mauryan era. Humayun’s Tomb: The first tomb with garden-tomb feature of Mughal-era architecture made on the Indian subcontinent. Humayun’s Tomb was commissioned by Humayun's first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum in 1558 after the death of the Mughal emperor Humayun in 1556. Jantar Mantar: The instruments for measuring the harmony of the heavens. Jantar Mantar is built in the year 1724 by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur for revising the calendar and astronomical tables. Jantar Mantar is a extraordinary piece of architecture in the form of a sundial. Qutub Complex: The Qutub complex is a cluster of iconic monument which spells out the narrative of Delhi. Qutub Complex houses the Qutub Minar, Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, Alai Darwaza, Alai Minar, Ala-ud-din's Madrasa and Tomb, Iron Pillar, Tomb of Imam Zamin, Sanderson's Sundial and Major Smith's Cupola. Safdarjang Tomb: The Tomb of Nawab Safdarjung built in 1754. This sandstone and marble mausoleum is the last garden tomb constructed in the late Mughal Empire style. Safdarjung Tomb is an eminent example of rich Indian heritage and cultural roots. Agrasen Ki Baoli: A 60-meter long and 15-meter wide ancient water reservoir with 108 steps on Hailey Road, near Connaught Place and Jantar Mantar. The old brick walls of the Agrasen Ki Baoli take you back in the 14th century during the period of the Delhi Sultanate.
